WHO ARE WE?
Possibility Studios is a MAKERSPACE located on the Strand in downtown Kingston. It will be a place where the community can gather to share resources and knowledge, work on projects, network, and build.
We have had quite a challenging 18 months since the flooding out of our old space. Now with that behind us, we have finally secured a new location and the buildout has begun.
We’ve been interested in making things all our lives and over the years we’ve gathered a collection of great TOOLS and lots of good IDEAS. And these days, in this internet-enabled time with things like open source availability and all kinds of new technologies , the POSSIBILITIES seem endless!
We believe Kingston needs a place to work and MAKE things; from a small BUSINESS with a lack of space, to backyard and basement BUILDERS, to ARTISTS, CRAFTS people, and all walks in between.
FINALLY! All the tools are under one roof and we’d like to start by opening them up to use by all kinds of COMMUNITY groups and people eager to MAKE, BUILD, LEARN, and GROW!
